Chapter 100 : Happy Chinese New Year ! // Quick Update x

Happy Chinese New Year my loves ! I hope the year of the goat brings you much prosperity & well-being .

How was your first day of the new year ? 

Mine was pretty mellow yet tiring . I woke up at like 12pm lol 

My sister & I went to Setia City Mall for lunch & a little bit of shopping since we got our angpao's earlier on . 

My sister actually allowed me to drive , unlike my mum who is absolutely terrified of my apparently unsafe driving skills which she has no proof  of since she has never given me the chance to drive . My sister was sort of screaming at me the whole time asking me to slow down . C'mon , I've had my license for about a year plus now . I think I know what I'm doing . 

I decided to go ahead & make some sort of effort to embrace the new year with more oriental prints on my outfit . Which thankfully I successfully portrayed in my kimono cardigan . It felt odd as I have never ever worn anything so... colorful . But hey , I matched the decorations ! :D

What I loved about this out fit was the kimono , duhh . The oriental flowers & aligned tassels at the end made my simple white top & blue jeans have a little more OOMPH , if you know what I mean . I never thought I could pull off a mid-length kimono since I am only 153cm . But adding a little bit of height with my platforms did wonders . 

Usually my sister takes really good shots but today was not her day , nope T___T damn sad now . I tried my best to savage the best ones & edit them but.... not my day either . WHAT IS GOING ONZ ?!

Oh well . 

After all that walking , my sister & I went to Nandos for lunch then to Delicious for coffee & desserts ! Woohoo ! 

This ones for the foodie's out there . 

Of course everyone is very familiar with Delicious so it doesn't need an introduction .

My favorite dessert from Delicious ; Macadamia @ Salted Caramel Cheesecake . Amazingly delicious of course . Surprisingly it isn't as dense as other cheesecake as its very soft & light .

So that pretty much sums up my first day of Chinese New Year ! 

Not very traditional right ? I know .
