Chapter 99 : Counterfeit Cosmetics vs. Original Cosmetics

Lets be honest , I'm sure we've all bought an item that was inspired by an original brand right ? It may be Zara to Prada that sellers are selling widely online now . Inspired clothing is hardly even a matter . 

But have you ever heard of INSPIRED or COUNTERFEIT beauty products ? 

Yes , its currently a THING on social networks where online sellers are selling beauty products ranging from Too Faced to Benefit to 3Concept Eyes . 

They're selling NAKED Palettes at prices below RM30 & other cosmetics that are superbly cheap . I won't lie , I am all for saving my money & I have been tempted to purchase some of those fake cosmetics but then again , I'm pretty paranoid when it comes to this kind of thing .

Fakes aren't ANYTHING like the real thing . Even if they are identical in packaging . 

The ingredients stated on fakes , how sure are you that they are true ? 

Plus , the thing about fake beauty products is that they are tested on animals first . 

Is your mind protesting against fake beauty products yet ? 

The fakes are harmful to our skin . You're going to live in that skin for the rest of your life , so why risk it ? 

I have had friends who have purchased fake cosmetics to save a quick buck & it resulted them in getting rashes , irritated skin & swollen lips . 

I find that fake products can be quite convincing when it comes to their packaging , printing & in very rare situations , quality .

I'm a true fan of NYX Cosmetics & why have I never seen these types of lip gloss before from them ? Hm ? 

Also a huge fan of Urban Decay & I went on their website to see if there was such a thing as Naked 4 & Naked 5 . No , there isn't . I'm not too sure if they do but on their official website there isn't such a thing . 

Let's say you spend RM30 on a counterfeit product & you gloriously say you've saved 80% of your money that you saved up to buy the original . What if you get a bad reaction & have to see a doctor & get treatment & medication ? That means you have to spend MORE than the money you would have paid to get the original .

So much for saving money right ?

Support the brands by purchasing their original products even if it means spending a little more money . 

I honestly think that there is certain satisfaction in buying the original products . An unspoken satisfaction . 

Since I've thought about it that way , I think now I'm all for original beauty products because you really get your money's worth . 

Currently saving up for Urban Decay , almost there !
