BH Cosmetics x Carli Bybel 14 Color Eyeshadow & Highlighter Review & Swatches

Hello everyone! How's your 2016 going? Mine has started with final exams which is definitely a huge bummer in my book but that's how college life goes. 

I feel like 2016 is THE year for make up, especially palettes for me. I have delved into the world of palettes & I don't see myself getting out of it anytime soon. 

I never thought much of eyeshadow palettes because I never really knew how to do that perfect eye look. My first ever eyeshadow palette was the infamous Urban Decay Naked 3 which to be honest, was it for me. BUT, one can never have too many palettes. 

Moving on, I heard a bunch about BH Cosmetics before this & especially their Limited Edition Carli Bybel 14 Color Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette. This palette literally broke the Internet. Carli Bybel is a Youtuber that has over 2 million followers so of course it broke the Internet.

Curious what the heck all the hype was about, I decided to get my hands on it. 

The packaging is pretty basic just a thick cardboard kind of packaging(?)

Inside is where the real magic is.

The top two rows are eyeshadows & the bottom row is highlighters.

But I used the two right highlighters as eyeshadows, because I bloody well can.

There is also a decent sized mirror inside which is definite a plus for me!

Lets just take a moment to appreciate the pigmentation.



First Impressions
Firstly, the pigmentation is beyond beautiful for the shimmer shades but as for the matte shades, I did have to really swipe my finger in them a few times more to get the color out but hey, the shimmer shades are definitely the star of this entire palette so I'm not complaining. The colors in this palette seemed to be following a fall theme which I am a very big fan of. Plus, Carli definitely hit the jackpot with the colors because they definitely suit any kind of skin tones. I hate that the colors would get out to the outer parts of the palette but that can be easily wiped away without tainting the pretty white packaging.

Overall

I am more than in love with this palette, if that is even possible. You can see from the shots of the palette that I have already really dug into those pretty shades like I've had them for months. I am still stunned with the amount of looks that I can make with this palette, from day to night so easily. The price of this palette is RM90, which honestly is way more affordable than any other palette we can get from Sephora here in Malaysia. For RM90 & all this goodness in one palette? I'm definitely getting more than my money's worth. I shall be using this palette to death. This is a limited edition palette from BH Cosmetics so I am literally hyperventilating & dreading the day I hit pan on one of the shades. So with that being said, I am ordering a back up very soon. Can you tell how much I love this palette? No? RE-READ THIS WHOLE POST. Heh. If you love shimmer eyeshadows as much as I do, you'd definitely love this palette.
