But today , I'll be blogging about one of today's most loved tv show on TV3 called Rindu Awak 200% . The title sounds cheesy as heck , I know . I came across this show when I was in Genting Highlands during Raya , flipping through numerous channels trying to find something to watch . & this , obviously , caught my eye . I started on the 7th episode so I had to figure my way through the whole show .
When I came back to Kampar , I searched for websites or blogs that had uploaded the whole series so I started from episode 1 . Yes , we started from the bottom now we here . & I managed to get my bestfriend , Yon Xin to watch it too . She isn't the type that watches Malay dramas but hey , it caught her eye !
So Rindu Awak 200% is about a stubborn & short-tempered girl named Armel Aisyah played by Ayda Jebat , who was at first dating this white dude , Raizil , she met when she was studying in Boston . Armel was expecting Raizil to propose but that didn't happen because he told her that he only saw her as a friend that said 'I love you' to each other affectionately .

She cried & cried & cried because of what she thought was true love but was merely a game to a man she truly loved for the past 3 years of her life . & did I mention that her parents have never met Raizil & disapproved of their relationship ? Yeah .
The story starts to become interesting when Armel's parents paired her up with her mum's cousin's son , Zill Faezrul played by Zul Ariffin . Zill's past was rather complicated as well . You see , he was once in love & engaged to a girl named Esyana but it didn't work out in the end because she had an accident , I supposed which led to her death . Zill had been heartbroken since her death & never found another . Zill is working as a pilot that is from Kedah . His father stays there & his mother had passed on . Zill also the eldest of God knows how many children but it does show that he is a very responsible & kind person . Oh , his is also very religious which is a plus point of course . He's your typical saint .

When Armel found out she was to marry this man , she was unhappy , confused & frustrated in every way possible . She would throw a fit every single time her mother would point out her wrong doings and offer advice . Obviously her relationship with her very strict mother is very very strained .
In the midst of all that drama , Zill proposed for marriage through his father & Armel accepted . But then she asked for the engagement to be called off and then to be on again just because she wanted to piss off Raizil & his new girlfriend/fiance . Bad reason to get married right ? I know .
So they got married & it wasn't a happy marriage . It was practically torture , for the audience , Zill & also Armel . Armel refused to accept him maybe because she wasn't that over Raizil or maybe she was afraid to be hurt again . Every single time they would be alone they would fight worse than any cat & dog . Zill remained patient as ever & prayed every single time that she would open her heart to him . But Zill still believed that Armel was his one true love & soul mate . *cue crying*
This continues for quite sometime . Armel had been looking for a job because she wanted to be independent rather than relying on her very rich parents . Yes they even have a swimming pool in their huge ass house . Armel planned to go a day before the interview to see the area & etc & her parents had suggested that Zill would drive her there but Armel being the little brat she is , she said no . Tryna act tough & shit . When she reached the parking lot of the building , she got robbed & her treasured Polaroid camera which she named 'Suzy' was in that very bag . So when she came home , she started crying & Zill brought her to the police station to make a report & that was the first time he had consoled her .
Armel did get the job but luck was not on her side . Why ? Because Raizil the Devil was working for that company as well , just a different department . Raizil kept chasing after her even though he knew that she was married . She obviously kept rejecting him because of what he had done to her . UNFORGIVABLE .
There are times of the week where Zill would go missing for 3-4 days every few weeks to fly to other countries . Armel was very curious of where he'd been going . No , she didn't know what he really worked as . This is because she was told he was a technician in KLIA . It didn't sound right to her because he'd be gone for days . She didn't even have his phone number for God's sake .
Fights had become worse ever since they had gotten married . She hated his home town because it was too much of a 'kampung' for her . She had even once said something that her father-in-law overheard that broke his old heart . At that point I was so ready to kill her .
There was a time where Armel thought that Zill had other girls outside of home so she wanted to get revenge on him . Which resulted to her going out with Raizil . During that time , I sort of sensed that Raizil was a little , strange . & I was right . One night that they had gone out together & Raizil said that he wanted to go to a friends house to pick up something . Zill & Armel's bestfriend , Daria her following them from behind because Daria had a bad feeling about it . & she was right . Armel started whining that she wanted to go home & Raizil snapped . He started choking the life out of Armel . When Zill & Daria saw Raizil's car starting to shake & bounce , they immediately ran out of Zill's Range Rover ((sweet car sial)) & rushed to save Armel . Zill had beaten the shit out of Raizil .
From that point , Armel was shaken up & realized that Zill had protected her . But when she was resting , she looked for Zill . Zill was nowhere to be found the next day .
That morning , Zill had recieved a call from his sister saying that their father was in a very bad situation in the hospital & he may not make it . He didn't because the virus had attacked his whole body .
Armel heard & rushed to Kedah to be by Zill's side . When she got there , she was too late . Zill's father had been already buried & Zill was not in the mood to deal with her . She was devastated . Oh & by the way , by this time of the show she had started wearing a headscarf :D
Days had passed & suddenly Armel had fallen sick . Zill brought her to the clinic & this is where she started calling him 'Abang' ((gushes)) . MONUMENTAL OKAY .
So they finally fall in love . FINALLY .
Armel was fired due to many days of not coming to work .
& the love story finally begins . But another interruption comes flying in . A girl named Irene played by Adeline Tsen was apparently in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend , William & was in love with Zill .
Zill brought Armel on their honeymoon which took place in Turkey . & shocker , shocker , Irene was there . Irene throughout the whole show was super clingy to Zill , always calling on him for help when she was abused by William . Armel was not happy one bit & started to get very suspicious .
At some point , I can't remember , Irene confessed her love for Zill & said that she was willing to be his second wife . Zill refused to listen to her , thank goodness . But that didn't stop Irene from trying . & she tried very VERY hard . She continued to call Zill , crying to him that she was afraid of William & that William would beat her up again .
She got more & more devious as the story goes on .
Daria & Armel's brother , Abang An were to be engaged & married . The day of the engagement , Armel almost fainted & that was the day she found out that she was pregnant with Zill's first child . They were over the moon & so was I & the rest of Malaysia .
Back to Irene's devious schemes , she was so desperate for Zill that she almost ran Armel over with her car . & when Zill found out , he went to set her straight & cut off all ties with Irene . But Irene was far from letting go . Over the next few days , she went to Zill & Armel's apartment & told Armel a spoon full of lies saying that she & Zill were in a relationship & were waiting for Armel's blessing to be wed . Armel was devastated & refused to talk to Zill .
The day that Zill was to fly to London , he called his wife that was staying in her parents house saying how much he loved & missed her & that he'd love her to the ends of the Earth . Zill cried while speaking & Armel just cried silently not saying a single word . The next day , Zill's bestfriend , Azad came over to Armel's parents house to talk to Armel , to let her know the truth . & Armel realized that she had been wrong about Zill & Irene .
Zill had come back from London & was putting his luggage & the bouquet of flowers that he had bought for Armel . But when he turned around , Irene was there , begging for him to accept her . He rejected her again & as Zill was walking away , she reached into her bag & took out a knife . Irene called his name again & as Zill turned to her , she stabbed him . Luckily , Malika , Irene's bestfriend I supposed & William came running & saw it all .
Abang An was the one who told Armel the news & Armel was very very upset . Thankfully the doctors managed to save Zill & he was safe . William & Malika went over to Armel & her family & told them the whole story about how they saw the incident & that William had broken up with Irene a year ago because she had feelings for Zill . Also , William had never abused her . Irene was doing it all on her own for Zill's sympathy .
Bitch crazy .
So Irene was arrested by the cops & she had admitted to the crime .
Zill was alright & Armel gave birth to a beautiful baby .
& that's the end to the beautiful yet jaw-clenching series of Armel Aisyah & Zill Faezrul .
Throughout this whole drama , I have felt happy , sad , angry & confused . The whole story was just absolutely amazing . I've never seen a tv series quite like this one . Dramatic & romantic at the same time . Rindu Awak 200% has become very monumental & everyone is going crazy over these two star-crossed lovers & so have I . Every single day is just great knowing that we get to see Armel & Zill in action . Malaysians have fallen in love with Armel & Zill & we will miss them 200% .
